Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. Her career has seen her achieve twelve WTA singles championships, which includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. Doubles is another area where she excels. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of both in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian teammate, and completed her Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples playing in female doubles. Her ranking went from second to third place in the world singles rankings at the end of August on the 23rd, 2021. Her highest rank was again achieved in the month of January in 2023. She rose into the top spot of the doubles ranking the next year after taking the title the doubles title in Melbourne. This made her the second Belarusian tennis player to be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her from through the season of 2018 until conclusion and this season in 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for short periods during the months of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach from 2020. Her heroes are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
