Megan Anna Rapinoe was born on the 5th July 1985, in Redding California. She started playing soccer as just a small child and her abilities were further developed during her teenage days. Rachael was her brother in arms. She went to the University of Portland with Rachael. Megan Rapinoe was a star in the team's soccer program at the University of Portland, and was among the top female scorers on the collegiate level throughout the United States. Her team had to take a break from playing throughout her junior and her sophomore year because of a knee injury. She graduated from Portland's University of Portland in 2008 with a bachelor's degree from sociology. The soccer journey of Rapinoe began in 2009. Her team was Chicago Illinois Red Stars. Her contribution to the tournament helped her team U.S. team win consecutive Women's World Cup championships in the years 2015 and 2019. In 2018, she was cocaptain for the U.S. national team. Rapinoe was awarded two bronze medals at the United States' 4-3 win over Australia in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Japan has been postponed until 2021 because of the COVID-19 viral pandemic.
